Tasty Coffee Cake Recipe For Any Occasion

If you are a coffee lover you will love this cake. Next time you make some coffee in your Cuisinart DCC 1200 12 Cup Brew Central Coffeemaker make some extra coffee, let it get cold and make this tasty coffee cake. You have to make sure that the coffee is nice and strong though, if you want a really tasty cake. For the mixing of this cake it will also be a good idea if you have one of the Cuisinart SM-55 5-1/2-Quart Stand Mixers to make the mixing easier.

So, here is your coffee cake recipe:

Ingredients:

  • ½ Cup of butter
  • ½ Cup strong black coffee
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 2 Cups flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 ½ Teaspoons of baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 Tablespoons of golden syrup
  • 1 Teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon of vanilla essence
Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Prepare two 9 inch cake pans
  3. Add the butter and sugar to your Cuisinart SM-55 5-1/2-Quart Stand Mixer and beat until creamy
  4. Add the syrup and continue beating the mixture
  5. Add the eggs one at a time while you continue beating the mixture
  6. Add the sifted dry ingredient and the coffee in small amounts alternatively to the butter mixture
  7. Pour the mixture into your prepared cake tin
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until done
  9. Let the cake cool on wire racks
  10. Fill and decorate as desired
