Sometimes you simply do not want the bother of cooking a big fussy meal. Well, if you have an All Clad Dutch Oven and more specifically the All-Clad Cast Aluminum 5-1/2-Quart Dutch Oven, you can prepare a meal in it from scratch with very little fuss.

Here is a recipe for a meal that only uses frozen stuff you simply add to your All Clad Dutch Oven, pop it into the oven and that's it!

Dinner from Frozen in a Flash

What You Need:

  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t of pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs. frozen chicken breasts
  • 1/2 C teriyaki sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) bag of frozen mixed vegetables

How to Make It:

  1. Adjust the oven to 450 degrees allowing it to preheat.
  2. Spray an All Clad Dutch Oven well with a non stick cooking spray.
  3. Place the frozen hash browns into the bottom of the pan and sprinkle with the salt and pepper.
  4. Lay the frozen chicken breasts over the top of the potatoes.
  5. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
  6. Dump in the bag of frozen vegetables.
  7. Cover and bake 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Don’t like all the fuss of preparing a meal? Try this quick and easy recipe. Everything comes right out of the freezer (have a look at the Frigidaire Chest Freezer for this) and goes directly into the pan. Use any type of frozen vegetables you have on hand. To make the potatoes a little creamier add 1/4 cup of water, milk or chicken broth before adding the chicken.

So, grab the food from your Frigidaire Chest Freezer, dump it into your All Clad Dutch Oven and relax while dinner cooks itself!

Low Fat Feta Grill Patties

There is no reason to eat or serve tasteless food when you are trying to get rid of a few pounds. There are delicious food you can prepare that are both tasty and low fat. To give you and example here is an easy recipe for you to try.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground chicken or turkey
  • 6 ounces crumbled feta
  • 2 tablespoons ground oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. These are great on the outdoor grill, but equally good on an indoor grill or under the broiler.
  2. Mix all ingredients well and form into 4 - 6 individual patties.
  3. Grill or broil for about 5 to 7 minutes each side.
  4. The feta cheese gives these a particularly wonderful and unique flavor.
  5. If you're using an indoor grill you might need to spray it with a bit of nonstick spray because they to tend to stick a little.
Of course if you want to lose a few extra pounds you will have to do some exercise as well. If you do not have a lot of time or a lot of space, a Stamina SpaceMate Folding Stepper may be just the piece of equipment you are looking for.

A Summer Time Grilling Treat Shrimp Recipe

I love Shrimp! So when I came across this recipe I was totally thrilled. This is actually a very easy recipe to make on your Weber One Touch Charcoal Grill. Here is your tasty Shrimp recipe:

Buttery Lemon Herb Shrimp Bites

  • 20 jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Fresh lemon slices

How to Make It:

  1. Mix together in a large bowl the butter, lemon juice, rosemary, thyme, marjoram, pepper and garlic.
  2. Pour the mixture into a large zip lock bag.
  3. Place the shrimp in the bag and seal tightly.
  4. Turn the bag over a few times to make sure the shrimp are covered well with the marinade.

Sweet and Spicy Turkey Breast On The Cuisinart GR-4 Griddler

When you are thinking about grilling, it is not always necessary to do it on the outside grill. Many grilling recipes can be made successfully on a griddler such as the Cuisinart GR-4 Griddler.

I say this because the gloating hinge of the Cuisinart GR-4 Griddler makes it possible to adjust the height and it can also be opened completely flat to be used as a grill. It is a good idea to keep that in mind.

We often find that we feel like something, but we do not want to go out and grill and that is when a griddler such as the Cuisinart GR-4 Griddler comes in handy. To give you and idea, here is a recipe you can try. It is also, of course very suitable to grill on a Weber One Touch Charcoal Grill.

Sweet and Spicy Turkey Breast

What You Need:

  • 1 TBSP black peppercorn
  • 1 TBSP cumin
  • 1 TBSP chili powder
  • 1 TBSP oregano
  • 1 TBSP minced garlic
  • 1/4 C lime juice
  • 2 TBSP olive oil
  • 6 firm peaches, peeled and chopped fine
  • 1 C peach preserves
  • 2/3 C peach juice
  • 1/4 C sugar
  • 2 TBSP cider vinegar
  • 4 jalapeno peppers, stemmed, seeded and chopped fine
  • 1 TBSP cilantro, chopped fine
  • 1 (4 lb) turkey breast
  • Canola oil

How to Make It:

  1. Crush the peppercorn seeds as fine as possible.
  2. Add the cumin, chili powder, oregano, minced garlic, lime juice and olive oil and stir into a paste.
  3. Coat the turkey completely with the paste.
  4. Place the turkey into a large zip lock bag, remove as much air as possible, seal tight and refrigerate overnight.
  5. In a saucepan over medium high heat mix together the peaches, preserves, peach juice, sugar and vinegar.
  6. Bring to a rapid boil then reduce the heat to medium low.
  7. Stirring often simmer the mixture for about 30 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
  8. Remove the mixture from the heat and allow cooling at least 10 minutes.
  9. Place the cooled mixture into the food processor and process until very smooth.
  10. Add the jalapeno peppers and cilantro and mix well.
  11. Allow mixture to come to room temperature then refrigerate until ready to use.
  12. Heat the grill on medium high.
  13. Brush the turkey breast completely with the canola oil.
  14. Grill skin side up over indirect heat for 1 hour 15 minutes.
  15. Remove and allow cooling before slicing and serving with the peach mixture.

If you do this on a Weber One Touch Charcoal Grill you can keep in mind that if you like your turkey breasts to be a little crispy on the outside place it on direct heat for 10 minutes before removing from the grill.

Easy Coffee Recipes - Not To Drink

Easy Coffee Recipes does not only have to be for something to drink. You can also use your beloved coffee in the most decadent cakes and pies. Today I'm sharing the most decadent of all fridge cakes with you. It is crawling with calories and dieters should beware!

If you do not want to eat raw eggs you can replace the eggs with a little milk that you add to the mixture until you have the right consistency. You will not have the egg white to fold in so the cake will turn out VERY rich, but I know of people that make it that way. I do not mind the eggs so this is how I make it.

Before you can start this coffee cake you have to make a coffee extract.

Ingredients:

  • ½ lb Butter
  • 2 Cups icing sugar1 Tablespoon coffee extract
  • 1 ½ packet of plain biscuits (Marie Biscuits in South Africa)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla
  • Sweet wine as needed
Method:

  1. Mix the butter and the yolks of the eggs well
  2. Add the coffee extract, icing sugar and vanilla essence
  3. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the butter mixture
  4. Dip the biscuits in the wine and pack one layer at the bottom of your bowl
  5. Spread a layer of the butter mixture over the biscuits
  6. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients have been used.
  7. Leave to set in the fridge.
IMPORTANT: do not soak the biscuits, simply dip them in the wine very quickly.

OK, I'm sure we all agree this is one of the most decadent of all easy coffee recipes! If you do not have a sweet tooth you will not enjoy it.
