Chocolate Dipped Cherry Cookies Recipe

Chocolate Dipped Cherry Cookies Recipe

Ingredients for this chocolate dipped cherry cookies recipe:

• 1/2 Cup butter
• 1/2 Sugar
• 1 Teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/2 Cups flour
• Pinch of salt
• 25 Maraschino cherries
• 25 Chocolate chips
• 31/2 Ounces cooking chocolate

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. Cream sugar and butter well
3. Add the vanilla
4. Sift the flour and salt
5. Add to the butter and sugar mixture
6. Mix well.
7. Stuff each cherry with a chocolate chip
8. Wrap each cherry in 1 teaspoon of the dough.
9. Bake on un-greased cookie sheet for 12 to 15 minutes.
10. Allow the cookies to cool.
11. Melt the cooking chocolate in the top of a double boiler over low heat
12. Dip the top of each cookie in the melted chocolate.
